GROUPS

Our club is composed of three groups, differentiated by the length and difficulty of their rides.  A person can ride with any of the groups at any time.

The A group is for stronger riders.  They travel on the flats at about 20 mph, and on a typical Long Island ride average 16 mph.  Their rides are between 40 and 65 miles long.

The B group is for strong riders.  They ride at about 18 mph and average around 14 mph.  Their rides are between 40 and 55 miles long.

The C group is for avid riders.  They average about 11-13 mph. Their rides are usually up to 40 miles long.
